to watch how he does that. A very emotional movie with a message.
2. Boot Polish (Baby Naaz, David)
- An emotional movie with high class acting, screen play, songs & situations. Kids would love it.
3. Parichay (Jeetendra, Jaya Bhaduri, Pran)
- A very light, emotional movie with lots of pranks from kids and touching act by Pran, Jetendra, Sanjeev Kumar & Jaya Bhaduri).
4. Hip Hip Hurray (Raj Kiran, Dipti Naval)
- One of the few movies made on sports (here it is Football). School Children would love this light film.
5. Bawarchi (Rajesh Khanna, Jaya Bhaduri)
- A very light story with a wonderful message that small things can change the life altogether. Lots of good actors & good acting.
6. Chupke Chupke (Dharmender, Amitabh Bachchan)
- A hilarious comedy with ultimate acting of Om Prakash, Dharmender Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan.
7. Jane Bhi Do Yaron (Naseerudin Shah, Ravi Baswani)
- A satire with corruption at the background and in a beautiful comic way.
8. Chashmebadur (Farukh Shekh, Dipti Naval, Ravi Baswani, Rakesh Bedi)
- Story of 3 students, studying in a Delhi University college. Each of them tries to win Dipti Naval but off-course Farukh Shekh wins at the end. Worth watching comedy.
9. Golmal (Amol Palekar, Utpal Dutt)
- A classical situational comedy. The Boss does not want his young employees to indulge in sports etc and sees Amol Palekar watching soccer. All hell went loose and a rib-tickling situational comedy takes you over.

- Four young guys, unemployed by choice wants to have fun with easy money lands into the house of a blind couple. One of them pretends to be their grandson. Lots of funny & cheeky scenes to make you laugh & enjoy.

- How to woo & win a girl for true love. How Ashok Kumar turns Amol Palekar from an extremely submissive into a street smart young man.

- Hillarious comedy with excellent acting of Kishore Kumar, Sunil Dutt & Saira Bano with lots of beautiful songs.
13. Jab we Met (Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor)
- A simple story told in a different way. Kareena Kapoor & Shahid Kapoor both acted so very well and convincingly. Music by Pritam is quite cool. A complete entertainer.
14. Hum Hain Rahi Pyar ke (Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla)
- A movie about a young guy building relationship with his sisters’ children. A sweet movie with all the contents like love, humor and great music. Brilliant performances by Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Dilip Tahil & kids.
15. Lagaan (Amir Khan, Gracy Singh)
- An Oscar nominated movie based on cricket as the backdrop. Good music/songs, good script and good acting by all the characters.
16. Tere Ghar Ke Samne (Dev Anand, Nutan)
- A light romantic comic story with a comically fighting Om Prakash & Hrindranath Chattopathyay as fathers of the couple. Some of the best songs from S.D. Burman.
17. Hum Dono (Dev Anand, Nanda, Sadhna)
- Dev Anand, in a double role, rose to fame in Indian Army with this movie. A love story with a new angle. Mesmerizing songs!
18. Guide (Dev Anand, Wahida Rehman)
- R.K. Laxman’s novel picturised wonderfully by Dev Anand. Journey of dev Anand from a guide to becoming a Mahatma.
19. Sholay (Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmender, Amzad Khan)
- An epic with everything perfect. Perfect acting, cast, story screen play, songs, emotions, comedy, action & everything knitted together to make this wonderful dacoit movie.
20. Mughl-e-azam (Prithviraj Kapoor Dilip Kumar, Madhubala)
- The tale of Anarkali, with Prithiviraj as Akbar, Dilip Kumar as Salim & beautiful Madhubala as Anarkali. Hard to believe the art of Large amazing Sets at that time.
21. Deewar (Amitabh Bachchan , Shashi Kapoor)
- One of the best movies of Amitabh which rose him to fame as Angry young man after Zanjeer. Story of two brothers- one is a gangster & the other is a policeman. The emotional drama with a beautiful screen play, dialogues & acting.
22. Yadon Ki Baraat (Dharmender, Zeenat Aman)
- The He-Man at his best. One of the best movies of Dharmender. A revenge story with full of action, romance, songs. You can see Amir Khan as a young cute baby boy.
23. Pratigya (Dharmender, Hema Malini)
- Dharmender at his best again. A dacoit story with lots of comic sequences. The lovable dance by Dharmender is not to be missed.
24. Mera Gaon Mera Desh (Dharmender, Vinod Khanna, Asha Parekh)
- Dharmender and Vinod Khanna, both are superb. Vinod Khanna as dacoit Jabbar Singh is nothing less than Gabbar Singh of Sholay.

- A bold attempt by Gulzar, movie with no songs. A wonderful emotional act by Vinod Khanna.

- A very emotional tale of a simple girl forced into prostitution and her love to a young child brings tears in eyes. Well written & extremely well sung songs.

- Cool, Fresh, Light comedy- LOVE STORY. The pair looks very cool & authentic.
39. Masoom ( Shabana Azmi, Naseerudin Shah, master Jugal Hansraj)
- Shekhar Kapoor’s superb directorial venture. Story about a kid (Jugal hansraj as a kid), who acted so cutely in the movie with elder sister Urmila Matondkar and another cute young sister. You can feel the pain just by looking into eyes of the kid. Music by R.D. Burman is outstanding. An emotional tangle.
40. Chalti Ka Naam Gadi (Kishore, Ashok & Anoop Kumar with Madhubala)
- After going thru the cast of the film, it is evident that it must be a laugh riot. What a wonderful comedy with lovely music and mesmerizing songs!
